about
This is about me fighting a quiet war against the part of me that felt like I should fall in line and do as I'm told. it encompasses the resentment of being outcasted and then feeling as though those same people thought I owed them something. It was somewhat a line in the sand, a dare if you will, for those people to try to force me to conform. I wanted them to, I wanted an excuse to snap. It's better for everyone that it didn't happen.
lyrics
Fresh from the depth like I got nothin left
awaited my return hope they held they breath
sick to the bone straight monster to the marrow
I passed the time lockin eyes with the scarecrow
wanna follow my lead but they scared to let go
shoulda coulda woulda said fuck this fashion show
so stay in your lane unless you plan to overthrow
the banks that regulate and the pigs that patrol
how we think, fuck, fight, and pursue goals
you need a diamond encrusted designer skull
with the latest built in mobile phone
to quell the fear of ever bein alone
I'd trade every last thing I fuckin own
if it meant that we could get wholly ghost
from the swinging of that metronome
to the coldest game I've ever known
the lights are on but no one's home
stay dumb yet smart like Al Capone
my beautiful design is overgrown
its aimless hate that I don't condone
you wont catch me on that megaphone
maintaining the heat like a crucible
a little bit magician a lot bit fool
they reserve my room at chapel terrible
bored of games they don’t have a clue
about domino effects or the crap shoot
no gods no masters shoots or ladders
wove like lattice a high score average
no apparatus or sports enhancements
disenchanted pure stage magic
the smile of acid through utter madness
seems outlandish but just like I planned it
move to the beat with your arms like zombies
get mad like one of em just ate your mommy
got us on edge like we aint no had coffee
lookin like "I dare em to try and stop me"
