This song is about me struggling to do what I think is right while pretending I always had been. I felt lost and dissatisfied but I tried to mask it with pride and determination. Spoiler alert, it didnt work.

for belief is not a weapon it's just shameless pretendin
that chaos is accepting of our silly suggestions
choices can be deadly when they are misdirected
the voice that lead me, the vision that sendeth
rejoice in the medley as he knows it prevented
the noise of the heavies sendin for their henchmen
the plan was to deceive the best of their senses

it's disgusting that nothing is done when the children in whirlwinds
of parents that punish with numbness the hunger to run with the grunion
or plummet through unlit once sun-kissed now moonlit
by bullshit so stupid and clueless, no fucking excuses they do this
to blueprints to innocent humans
such freedom of movement in a cage so exclusive is an improvement
on days when the foolish had no governments, diets, no to-do lists
and lived like animals in the god damn wilderness
uncharted depths, deep breaths, no more fuckin politicin
what is left, these last steps, I'm an incomplete parlor trick
it's not magick he is no magician
in a mages robe he ties that ribbon
around the tombs entry doors and waits for a signal
if you watch too closely you will see the strings start to glisten
if you listen carefully you will hear what you were really missin
if you feel revolted we were successful with out mission
all that's left to do is state our opposition

signs of an underlying condition
