about
"Servitude," is about seeing work as a long-leash/big-cage version of indentured servitude. How we should not have to earn back our basic necessities from people that have more than they'll ever need. How no one should be in charge of anyone else. It's full of rage and hatred for the people who deserve it the most. It's also an attempt to cleanse my mind as I too am forced to do shit I dont want to do, for people I dont respect, to buy back things that should never have a price tag on them in the first place. It is also about my longing for unity and disgust with the still existent racism, classism, and bigotry that never left us. So basically, it's like the rest of my songs.
